Alright, this is going to get me in trouble and definitely pushes it as far as my blog too personal. But I just got back from a date with this guy. I went on a date with him last year as per my previous post and we ran into each other on Tuesday. We've talked online before and someone got in a fairly personal conversation about past relationships and what we like/ dislike in those relationships, etc. I was very clear as to how I felt about certain dating situations and how many things in a date need to go right for things to work, etc. Anyway, we went out tonight and had a nice time. Despite a background that would stereotype him as a geek, it became apparent early in the date that he was smooth. Dating 101 that I have not seemed to master; getting into someone's personal space, touching someone's arm, knee, etc. He had all the moves. And as per dating 101's intended results, after 1 small drink, I could no longer tell if our conversation led to chemistry or it was his smooth operations.

Anyway, long story short, it became apparent he was only after one thing. In fact, ironically enough, I may have met the male version of myself. (not regarding the only after one thing part) Birthdays one date apart, he's impatient, creative, interesting, selfish, honest.. and a good kisser. Yup, totally the male version of me. But I'm annoyed that he was in fact, a player. Just goes to show that anyone can be a player. You can be a super geek.. have gone to a super geeky school, be in computers, it don't matter. If you just follow these simple rules..

Oh, you think I'm going to tell you how? No way. There are enough players in NYC.
